Raiseny?
Raiseny? Is that a word? Well… if it is, it would describe my cereal this morning.
Have you ever been gold panning? It is probably one of the coolest things in the world. You get a pan, a bucket of sand and sift through it ever so carefully. The technique used takes a long time to master (I really don’t mean to sound like an expert, but I was tought by one). Once you get to the black sluff, you start to see shiny little bits of rock, and then, the GOLD! Well, I said all that to say this: the heavy stuff sinks to the bottom with movement.
That’s exactly what happened to this box of raisin bran. I had 7-8 raisins for every bran. Normally, that would make me rejoice, but this is the crappy, Wal-Mart off brand raisin bran. They coat the raisins in SO much sugar, they almost have a frosting on them. Blegh! So, needless to say, back in the box it went.
My dilemma though: should I throw the box away? I feel like I would be wasting a lot of food, even though I wouldn’t force feed it to anyone (especially without milk, although my fiance seems to like cereal without milk *scratches his head*)
There’s not really a craft that I could make out of it either. So I think it goes in the trash tomorrow morning. I guess that means I have to eat brocolli cheese soup for breakfast. Joy!
—–UPDATE—–
I took the raisins from the cereal this morning and transplanted them into another dose of cereal. Good idea myself! *pats himself on the back*
