New Addition
When I called my mother and said “I have exciting news,” she just about flipped her lid.
In her mind, my wife and I had only been married for a month, and, like any other mother, she thought “I’m gonna be a GRANDMA!!” Well… sorry to disappoint, mom, but our new addition is a little bit easier to manage than a kid.
Sunday afternoon Eve and I went and looked at a little 11-week-old basset hound puppy and we fell in love, so, we bought her! Her name is Lilly and she is the most precious thing you have ever laid eyes upon (I’m a proud poppy, what can I say?).
I’m at work right now so I can’t post any pictures, but you’d better believe, once I get home (and clean up any surprises left by little Lilly, that’s her name by the way) I’ll upload the pictures we’ve taken of our wonderful little puppy and post them on Facebook. Then I’ll post the link on here so all of you can see her precious little face.
I’m really praying that God will use Lilly in our lives as a stress reliever and a precious companion dog, and that He’ll bring Eve and I closer together by raising and training a little one. Pray the same for us please.
