Blessed Man

Ok, here’s a new series I’ll do every once and a while, it’s called “do me a favor”.

Today’s favor: Don’t come into Best Buy (my part time job) and ask me why we advertise stuff and then don’t have it.

A)   I don’t do the ordering for my department.

B)   Just because we don’t happen to have that thing you think you want really badly doesn’t give you a right to be annoying about it. (Because odds are there are much better things for way cheaper right behind you… Hey! Whaddayaknow?)

C)   I don’t come into your house to eat food and then ask why you’re out of something. That’s just not how it works. I trust that you are giving me the best food you have and I am appreciative of what you have to offer me.

D)   On the bottom of every page of the ad, the very obvious fact is stated “Limited Quantities”. When you ask the above question you show me you can’t read, you’re not very bright, and you’re not very observant.

E)   Annoying your salesperson is one of the worst things you can do in an electronics store. Knowledge is power. Nuff said.

If anyone reading this has ever asked this question before, slap yourself on the face right now. Go ahead. I’m waiting.

So I know I’m making a big deal about oatmeal, ok, I get it.

But Oatmeal’s making a big deal out of my kitchen. Check it.

Yeah, count em, that’s 22+8+8+8+8 (54) packs of oatmeal.

It was on sale, what can I say?

Also, Brian, my brother, got the correct answer to my question. “My flickr username means what (it’s meandeef if you want to add me). meandeef= m e (michael ernest) and e e (eve elizabeth) f (flowers). How awesome is that? Good job Brian, 10 points to you.

For my next question, how long do you think it will take me to eat all this oatmeal. Keep in mind I mix it with plain oatmeal when I eat it so it’s even more filling and a little less of an intense flavor. (Yeah, I know I’m weird.)

When I finish the last pack I’ll award someone 20 points.

You might ask, “What ever are these points for”. Well, you’ll just have to find out when I give something away. If you have points, you can get it, if not, too bad.

Hadn’t written anything in a while, so I thought I would.

Came up with a new username that I think is priceless: meandeef.

10 points to whoever guesses the meaning behind it. Anyways, it’s my new username. Once someone guesses what it means I’ll go into more detail.

Finally hopped on the Flickr craze. Gonna upload some pictures to it. The main reason I signed on is so I can shoot pics on my phone and put them on here for people to see. Yeah, I know I can do that with Facebook, but it gave me a reason to try Flickr. If anyone thinks that’s a mistake let me know. My username on Flickr is meandeef just incase anyone wants to add me.

Voice over stuff is going amazing. Just revamped my blog on there, I think it looks awesome. (Why don’tcha hop on over there and tell me what you think. ‘Preciate it!) Get emails almost every day for people asking me to voice this or voice that. It’s awesome when God gives you a gift and a passion and allows you to use them, He is so good like that, even though I don’t deserve it.

Lilly is getting BIG, she’s almost 38 pounds now (sorry Bells {our downstairs neighbors})

I’ll post some new pics of her on Flickr when I get a chance.

Got my Indiana License Plates today, now I feel like a real hoosier. I don’t know if I should post this or not, but they don’t check your emissions when you get a new plate (coming from a different state) so I didn’t have to get my car fixed, since the engine light is on, (at least not yet; I’m going to try to get it fixed before it explodes).  Woohoo for no emissions tests for two whole years!!!

As a last thought, Nilla Cakesters are probably the best cookie in the entire world. As most of you know, I’m a HUGE coffee fan and they go perfectly with coffee. If you haven’t tried them, you should, they’re incredible. Trust me, I know a good cookie.
